I've been playing for 40 years and coaching for over 20 years from beginners to advanced players. I've encountered most problems associated with coaching and tried and all sorts of remedies.
I now work part-time for the E.T.T.A. as a tutor, teaching coaches how to coach as well as providing private coaching, specialising in combination bat play.
Coaching is not rocket science but it does require good interpersonal skills, observational skills and imagination.
